The DIAGRAM Center is. We’ve been working with some of the brightest leaders in 3D printing for accessible education to create a 3D Printing in Education Quick Start Guide. A resource to help people through the process of using 3D printing technology to make education materials accessible for students.  During this webinar we will take you on a tour of this guide. You will learn how it came about, how you can use it, what other resources are available and hear how others in the DIAGRAM community are already using it in their work to support children with disabilities. We’re excited to introduce our newest resource and hope you will be able to join us!

Building an Accessible Classroom With 3D Printing

At the beginning of December, Lisa Wadors, Kevin Yang, Abigale Stangl, Ting Siu and Lucia Hasty came together to present part one of this special webinar series on 3D printing. Participants learned about standards around 3D printing for accessibility in the classroom, about resources created from a National Forum on 3D Printing and Accessible Education that was sponsored by the IMLS, and were treated to a sneak preview of what’s in store for 2016. A non-captioned recording of the webinar is available on DIAGRAM’s webinar page at http://diagramcenter.org/webinars.html. The closed-caption version and presentation slides are coming soon. We will post an update once they are available so be sure to check back!
